    I ignored a summons
    I got a summons last week to appear in court in June over a credit union loan I got back in 1997 haven't a pot to piss in and don't want to co to court for fear of being locked up I also got the same summons six mounts ago and never turned up would their be a warrant for my arrest out now

    First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

    Debtor's prison ceased to exist in the 19th century. You will not be jailed or arrested for failure to pay a debt.

    It is not a good idea to ignore a summons. If you have no assets they you may be judgement proof so even if they get a judgement they can't do anything with it. But your best bet is to show up for the hearing and make sure the debt is valid. If you lose you would have lost anyway.
