    Graduating early, credits.
It is my third year of high school and I am attending and Alternative High School in my area because I was extremely far behind in my regular high school. I came to this school with 3.5 credits my JUNIOR year. It is still my Junior year and I have 16.5 credits. I need 5.5 more credits and it really is not hard to get the credits that I need because I have two amazing teachers and the internet. If I could get these 5.5 credits shouldn't I be able to graduate with the class of 2009 instead of 2010? So I can start college a year earlier, instead of coming into school for 3 hours next year to set on my butt and do absolutely nothing then co-op. it seems a little pointless to me in all honesty. Any help or suggestions? Any answer is appreciated.

I would think it would be a good idea to graduate early if you have the total number of credits required.

If that turns out not to be possible, an alternative might be to see about dual enrollment during your senior year. Many schools will make it possible for students to attend what they need that last year towards high school while also getting a head start on some college level classes. Speak to your counselor and see if that is an option for you.
