    Contra Bassoon music by Handel.
    Does anybody know of music by Handel which was originally scored for the forerunner of the Contra-Bassoon( Double Bassoon)? The original instrument would probably have been something like a Contra- Fagotto ?

    Do you mean music that was originally written for a solo instrument or that which was meant to be played in a small ensemble or orchestra?
