The chispider/tarantula is highly scary to me, but I am arachnophic.

We do get some pretty big ticks around here every once in awhile. A couple of summers ago, I had to get out the tweezers and pluck them off my dog and burn them. I think I counted about 20 or so, but She didn't get them that much after but did die at the end of that summer. :(
I learned while I lived in Raleigh that you need to heat a pin and stick it into the tick, this makes them remove their head and you can get them off. The problem with just picking them off is that their head remains in the skin and that is a serious problem that causes major infection problems. Just random knowledge picked it and stored in my 'random knowledge' file in the back of my brain.

Yes Stringy, I remember you saying you had a soft spot for Carolina... we miss you here!
Bear, on TV they always make England look so gray and drab. I want to go and see it for myself!

Like I said it's a good choice. I have a way with back scratching... it's kindof a gift.
Better to let someone else seduce him. ;)
BTW, I don't think that head could swell any bigger... looks pretty swollen all the way up.
