    lawn chief tractor will not climb a small hill
    have an older lawn chief tractor 15 or so hp from true value hardware that runs just fine
    until you try to cut on a up hill grade. It just stops. What can cause this?

    Check you drive belt tension. It may be slipping and there is plenty of adjustment on the swing arm that applies tension to the belt.
