    Wisdom Teeth Removal- After Math
I had 2 wisdom teeth extracted (1 top and 1 bottom) bottom impacted 10 days ago and although only 2 stitches in the bottom tooth has dissolved from my cheek I can still feel something in the actual socket. Slight ear pain and general niggly feeling. Inside the tooth looks black. Could part of the stitch still be there? Is this normal? Do I need more antibiotics?

It could still be in there, but it's not going to be smooth. It needs time to heal. I would contact your oral surgeon about it, and see what he/she says.

Keep rinsing with warm salt water to flush that area out. If it's a suture that is to dissolve it will. It could be a particle of food, the rinsing should flush it out. As momma said... don't poke anything in the socket.
