Something happened that took me and my girlfriend out of reality?
OK so I really don't know how I can use words to explain anything that happened but ill try as best I can.

So the other night me and my girlfriend were at her house watching TV and munching on some sandwiches, everything was all normal and fine we were watching britains got tallent and the break came on and we were chatting, when all of a sudden the lloyds tsb advert came on and it started.
By it, as soon as the music started to play on the advert it engulfed us as though it was all that was, so deep but not in a nice way in an its not really there faded deep way (like I said there's no words) and this unexplainable feeling suddenly engulfed me and I knew beccy (my girlfriend) felt it too because she suddenly looked at me and said what's happening, something's happening and she really started to panic she started looking around the room saying something's going to happen something's not right, and I could feel it too I tried to calm her down while at the same time trying to calm myself down.
The feeling was nothing I have experienced in my life, it was un-real it was scary and really did feel like time had stopped the walls of reality were frozen and we were waiting for something to happen, trust me these words don't even start to describe what was happening, I told her to go to bed and I would meet her up there, but she couldn't and I couldn't leave her we felt trapped inside whatever was going on.
We went to bed and put on a movie to try and forget the feeling and beccy soon snapped out of it feeling normal again, but I who was calm at first was truly freaked out, I could hear everything from a tap dripping to the house creaking in the wind to things I knew couldn't be there like whispers and footsteps downstairs, it felt like we wernt alone like we had half crossed into another place like our world but completely wrong, I heard whispers and the worst of all surreal feelings like a drunken extremely cold state, I felt beccy and she was ice cold as was I, the house was very warm I could feel the warmth yet my body was so cold. I didn't snap out of it till the morning, after a night staring at the ceiling trying to think possitive.

Has anybody ever experienced anything like this? It really threw me and the fact that it happened to both of us at the same time tells me it wasn't in our heads, that tells me it was really real.. something happened to us that night, something real and something huge something other worldly, something humans aren't able to deal with, and I couldn't imagine a worse fait than to experience that again (it was that bad)

    Anyone anything?

Hmm. I don't really understand what you went through-- but then I kind of do. A very long time ago I was stepping into another room and I felt as if I had shifted into another world. Everything looked to same, but my hearing was suddenly changed. I felt like I could hear what people were saying blocks away. I felt like I was hanging upside down, but I really wasn't I was standing up right. It was a strange experience.

Strange things happen in this world, I believe that there isn't any logical explanations when it comes to the paranormal world.

Yes,I have had this happen to me up in the Adirondack mountains.Time stopped and even the stream next to our tent stopped running. It stopped making sound.

All that moved was a leaf on a tree and my BF and I were drawn to look at it.He had to turn around to see it but we were mesmerized by it,it was moving side to side as opposed to how it should have normally moved.

When time *came back* our dog was visibly scared and we both said at the same time *holy shi&.What was that*?

If felt ominous and bigger than us but we didn't really see it as a bad omen.At the time it was happening we were scared but it just felt like a reminder that we were in a place of power.

From what we could gather it lasted about 3 minutes but time truly felt suspended.

If it had happened to me in a house I think I would have a different feeling about it.

Google *missing time* and you might get some hits from that. Here is a link you may find useful.

Something like that happened to me and my cousin a while ago. We were sitting in bed talking (I was sleeping at her house where there was TONS of paranormal activity) well all of a sudden both of us stopped talking and I could hear all these voices like there was a bunch of people with us and I know she heard it too because she was silent as well we both went silent in mid sentence. I don't know how long it lasted but we both snapped out of it at the same time.

I too, have experienced something similar. The feeling of being upside down, heightened awareness. I was always alone when this happened to me, so I don't know what caused you partners to experience it as well.

I had originally thought that what I had experienced was a partial O.B.E. or just becoming suddenly aware for a short period. Although, the experiences didn't un-nerve me, it did however intrigue me.
