    Journal entries for divestment
    Hello,

    Please help me with the journal entries where a consolidated group has sold shares in a controlled entity so that the group no longer has a controlling interest in the formerly controlled entity.

    DEBIT Cash at Bank Account.
    CREDIT Shares in Subsidiary Company B.

    Being sold shares in a controlled entity B so that the group no longer has a controlling interest in the formerly controlled entity.
