I hated following labor when they force you to pee... like you are going to forget... so you don't have to go, you know it is going to hurt if you can't pee strong and far... and they sit and wait for you to do the burning tinkle...

I wish I could say she's going to co-operate, but I doubt it. She'll fight them every step of the way and end up being there for 2 months instead of one.

She's not a happy gal and she's stubborn as heck. The poor nurses have their work cut out for them. She's already told them all off.

Hopefully they're more stubborn then her, but I'd hate to be in the room when the battle of wills ensues.

I too bet on Starby! However, that won't do good on her... except if she gets out of bed and runs after the nurse.. then she'll be starting her physio! Lol

The physical therapists may enjoy your pain, Starby, but do like they tell you. It really does help. A swift recovery!

I'm betting on Starby but I'm cheering for the nursing staff.

She needs to listen and do what they say.

    Stubborn girl. :(

Starby being stubborn.. Ducky has to get up..

Maybe if Joux and Noux come back to the scene again. That will be enough...

    Update:

Just talked to Starby. She sounds a lot better, a bit clearer and she's bored out of her mind.

Her brother has been bringing Niki to visit her so she's happy about that. Sounds like she's still giving the nurses a hard time but they're winning. Go nurses! :)

She had a sleepless night because she slept all day, but maybe a few weeks in the hospital will finally get her on the right schedule. ;)

    That's about it.

Oh, she sends hellos and big hugs to everyone. She misses AMHD like she'd miss her right arm. :)

It's great to her of some small recovery and that her brother is bringing Niki up to visit.

Maybe this will even do some mending. :D

She gets too irrate, they will probably just heavily sedate her. ;) She doesn't stand much of a chance against the people controlling her I.V.

There isn't anything comfortable about sleeping in a hospital... especially when they send those damn nurses in to wake you up and poke and prode you in the middle of the evening.

Tell Starby, good luck and many hugs to her also.

    Take it easy, Starby.

Altenweg, can her brother get her a laptop? Lots of hospitals can provide internet.

Her brother has a laptop that he's offered to bring to her, but the hospital said that internet isn't possible.

I'm not sure why, but they said no go. :(

That is odd? Why is that I wonder.

Well at least Niki is being taking care of, and Starby is getting visits from some family.

Tell her that I wish her the best and stop being so stubborn.. Listen to the nurses.

I think the reason is that Wi Fi can interfere with other equipment like heart monitors etc.

I wish it could be done, hopefully her brother will find a way, he's looking into it.

Poor Starby, she's just so bored.

At least she has a TV. :)
