I can't find the right air filter size anywhere
I just moved into a house and it has 2 electric heat pumps and 2 air movers - I guess that's what they are. I assumed they were backup furnaces, but I don't really understand after looking at the manual http://www.tappan.net/Literature/514b.pdf
This is my first time having heat pumps in a house.

    Anyway, the current filters are size 19.75 x 22 x 5.25
I can't find that size anywhere locally or online. Is it OK to just use a 20x22x4 or 19x22x4, or does anyone know where I can order these filters from?

    Thanks in advance.

What brand? You will probably have to order this form a heating company.

Sorry, meant to include that. The brand of the unit is Tappan B4VM-X36k-B, made by Nordyne. I didn't pay attention to the brand of the filter when I checked the size. I'll have to check that tonight.

Have you tried Home Depot or Lowe's for these air filters? They carry a lot of different sizes.

That is a funky size, what else is written on the filter, like a brand name or number?

It is probably a April air or space guard filter.

Sounds like a Trion Airbear too.

It looks like an original filter from the manufacturer? The only name on the filter is Nordyne and it has a part number. I guess I'll try and go through them. I'll check out the other options you all have listed as well.
