Hi... my man and I are trying to conceive, I was on the depo injection for 1 year I had my last injcetion last April my periods only returned in jan 09 although they are very irregular(I came on every 2 weeks)i had my last period on the21st of march then came off again on the 27th, up until then my periods were every 2 weeks but this last period was 21 days later (coming on on the 17th April finishing after only 3 days on the 20th) I have a metailic taste in my mouth but that is the only precnancy symptom ( I had this taste during my 1st pregnancy) just wondering if any ov you guys think I could be pregnant, I no I should take a test but I think it maybe to early to tell and also I don't really want to tell my partner as he woul;d be so upset if we get a negative result as we both want another child very much,what do you all think?

With your periods being irregular it would be difficult to use that as a way of knowing. I am assuming you have been having unprotected sex since you had your last injection? Pregnancy would certainly be a possibility.

It could also be your cycles are finally starting to become a bit more regulated... which can take quite a long time for some women after the last injection.

Like you said, you will simply have to try a test. Good luck!
