Spooky old black and white movie
Hi, I saw a move as a kid that really spooked me. I’m not sure if it’s a movie or it was a TV show, I do think it was a movie though. The movie is in black and white and came out in the 50’s or 60’s. I think it takes place in the Victorian era since the one female character I remember wore long dresses. I thought the 2 male leads were Leslie Nielson and Cesare Danova, but I can’t find a common film for both of them on IMDB. For arguments sake I’m going to call the lead character LN and CD in the plot description. PLOT: CD has been having bad dreams and contacts his old friend LN. LN investigates and discovers that his friend has been finding carvings that show 2 heads connected. As the movie progresses the heads are more separate on the carving, till at the end there is only one head on the carving. It turns out the CD had been born a Siamese twin (?) but while he was handsome the twin was ugly and deformed. The ugly twin had tracked him down and was slowly switching bodies with CD. LN discovers this and kills him. LN finds the final carving with the one head totally emerged. He realizes that the switch was made before he killed the ugly twin and ends up killing CS’s body. He has his assistant move the ugly body from a pauper’s grave to CD’s family plot (since CD is really in that body). The assistant is a little person. This is a very spooky movie and would love to see it again. I did think it was the episode “Dark Possession” from the old Studio One TV show, but it isn’t. Any help would be appreciated!:eek:
