    Filing fees
Myself and my 2 sons came to the USA from the UK 8 yrs ago on the Visa Waiver Program to visit my american boyfriend, well we ended up staying, getting married and have been here ever since, we are still married so obviously its not a marriage of convenience as we still love each other very much.
My oldest son is now 18 just graduated high school with honors and wants to join the US Military, and obviously can't do this as he is undocumented.
With only 1 person working in our house, as we can't as we have no SSN, and the cost of the filing fees for the green card being as expensive as they are, does anyone know of any loans, or ways to pay for these filing fees in a monthly payment scheme, I know the gov. wants their money, and I have no problem in paying taxes etc, I just want my son to be able to go and do what he wants to do and become a career military guy.
So please if anyone knows how we can help in paying for the filing fees etc let me know

    Thanks

You have made two big mistakes... first, you cannot file for adjustment of status if you entered US on visa waiver program. Your case must be processed in your home country. Second, filing fees increased 300% while you should have got all done long times ago.. when it was much cheaper.

You need to file for both yourself and your son. A waiver is required. Contact legalaid in your area.. you need immigration attorney. Since marriage is genuine, it should not take longer than a year. Good luck.

I have spoken to a lawyer and they say I can file for adjustment of status with a VWP as I was still here legally when I got married, so that is not the problem, but I will look into a waiver thanks
