I am trying to install a light fixture in a bathroom in my house. In the wall there are three white, three black, and one red wire. There is a ceiling vent with a power fan, I tried to wire it the same way the old one was setup and it the circuit blew. Every other way I tried either the fan and light are on the same switch, and the circuit blows or the light is permanently on and the fan doesn't work, or vice versa. Im not sure which the ground wire is, or how to properly install this fixture without losing my mind. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

I forgot to mention that the there are two switches on the wall, and that I'm not sure which ones are "hot" or not and which the ground wire is. Any help on how I can figure those out would also be appreciated

Are there separate switches or a combination switch that fits into one space but has two switches in it? If there are separate switches, the hot wire needs to connect to one terminal on each switch, the loads to the other terminals. If it is a combination switch, the hot wire connects to a common terminal on one side, and the two load wires connect to two screws on the other side. Make sure you know which side is which.

You need to find the feeder (hot wire) first. Any simple circuit tester or meter can be used. You should not need to do anything with the white wires, unless one of them is used as a switch leg. Without any more information, it's kind of difficult to go into much more depth.
