    Depoprovera shots
I have been off depo shots for over a year. Why haven't I had a menstrual cycle and can't conceive?

I took the Depo shot once. It took me almost two years for my period to return. Keep in mind, it may take 6-18 months or longer for your hormone cycle to go back to normal and be able to become fertile yet again.

Have you tried cleansing, detoxing or eliminating these synthetic hormones? Try drinking lots of water, eat lots of fresh raw organic vegetables, drink raw vegetable juice, sweat in a steam room or sauna, get lots of exercise and fresh air. You can also ask at a health food store about herbal formulas or teas that help detoxify your body or that balance female hormones, or talk with a naturopathic physician or herbalist.

If your trying to get pregnant it's always great to take those prenatal pills ;)

    Good luck to you!
