    Amended Taxes
    I called the IRS about my amended taxes. They told me they were working on it! How much long will this take? Will it also get direct deposited?

    No, refunds from amended returns are NOT direct depsoited (do not ask me WHY; I know of NO good reason).

    Amendments take at least six weeks and can take up to six months.
