    Poulan Pro gas leaf blower/vac
I am having trouble keeping the thing running. I noticed that there seems to be a filter on the gas line in the tank. Could it be dirty and if it is then how or what do I clean it with.
Would it be better to just replace the filter?

Always replace a filter if you can. They can sometimes be cleaned out with carb cleaner but new is always better.

Gas tank filters are a big pain. If you can't get to it with needle nose pliers then need to remove things to do so.

A weighted in tank filter may not look dirty but can be inside. Black blowing through the hose connection is what I do but that's me to test the pressure resistance.
