    Japanese Baking recipes
    Does anyone know of any good Japanese baking recipes?

    I'm no Japanese cuisine expert by any means, but I think 'Japanese baking' is a contradiction in terms. Instead they rely on confectioners/candy, those little steamed moon/rice buns, and sweet bean pastes. Any 'baking' in Japan is just western baking.

    Check online for 'wagashi' recipes, it's what they call it if I remember.

    Japanese baking actually has a very distinctive style...
    Wagashi is pretty much the only sweets the Japanese eat (very yummy though!)
