About five years ago I met the girl that I'm dating now and I love her to death. But it seems like I'm overreacting to some of the things she does. She's nineteen and I'm about to be 21. Some of the things she does I don't mind I want her to live her life but I don't want her clubbing and drinking and friends get into the way of our relationships. Like she get drunk first now and go to clubs and then gets mad at me when I ask what happened? Like every time I tell her my feelings about something with our relationship she gets mad and tells me stop being controlling when I'm telling her how I feel. Like should I be mad at her for going to a chippendal show or something like that. I don't know what to do, like I shouldn't have talked bad about her friends and they don't like me and I have a feeling that there filling her head with stuff and her step sister sat there the other day and made her believe that I said something that I didn't. I mean I don't know what to do I'm trying to be a nice guy but its like she don't care about my feelings about things.

Go have some fun with your own friends and leave her alone. She's young. She wants to go out and have fun with her friends. That's normal. That's what she's supposed to do at her age. It does sound like you're being controlling. If her friends don't like you, you need to take a step back and figure out if maybe they have valid reasons for it.

You're not overreacting, she's just not your type.

She's obviously an independent type of girl. You're just going to have to trust her. If you don't like what she does, then maybe you don't like her as much as you say you do, because she's not the person you thought she was.

You cannot go into a relationship thinking that you can change someone, cause that's what you want. You want her to be someone she's not.

If you can't handle her personality, then stop fooling yourself and find someone else who has the personality that you want.
