    We Fried The Dryer.
I have a Kenmore 110.64672400 and my husband thought it would be easy to disconnect the buzzer. He cut the two wires to the buzzer and started the dryer. It ran - until it started to buzz. It gave half a buzz and died. He reconnected the buzzer and it still doesn't work. I saw the schematic and he did indeed disconnect the wires from the buzzer, so I'm kind of puzzled as to how it even gave half a buzz when everything to the buzzer was disconnected?

What did we fry? What do we now need to replace?

    Please help.

When we open the door the light doesn't even turn on.

We have a breaker box on the house and it didn't trip the breaker.
