We have been trying for a year now. I use a menstrual/ovulation tracker for the past two years and I have never been late, its actually right on time based on my charts. I am now 11 days late, I am sick to my stomach, I don't want any food that I normally like. Im very tired and find myself taking a nap as soon as I get home. I already have a 5 year old so my chest isn't really sore, just my nipples feel kind of funny. I have taken a couple at home tests which all came out negative. I then ended up in the emergency room for non female related issues , but I had mentioned the possibility of being pregnant and they gave me a blood test, which came out negative also. I still feel pregnant, Is there a possibility that I am still pregnant, just maybe too early or not enough hcg being produced? If anyone could help I would appreciate it:confused:

It's possible, but sadly we don't know any more then you do. If the blood test was negative, then I'd say it's unlikely, but I can't say it's impossible.

Women have late periods all the time, not always because they're pregnant.

Have you been on any medication lately? Are you stressed? Have you changed your diet? Any of these things and more could be the reason your period is late.

Also, sadly, pregnancy symptoms and PMS symptoms are very similar.

Wait another week or two, if you still haven't gotten your period then try another hpt, make sure to use first morning urine as it's the most accurate.

No change in life style at all, no stress, no medications. Its weird though because before I get AF my chest is always sore like a week before AF starts, its like that every month, but now Im not sore at all. Its weird. Im confused

Well it turns out I am pregnant!! I am almost 7 weeks confirmed by ultrasound even though the blood test said negative, I'm so psyched ! Good luck to anyone else trying to conceive! And don't always believe modern science, nothing is error free.

Congrats THerbenson! I am so happy for you! I too am very late, going on day 16 and all htp test have come up negative. I have not gone in for a blood test, though I do have a ob/gyn appt on the 27th, not sure I can wait that long. Do you get a positive reading on a htp test yet, or just by ultrasound since your blood test was negative? Congrats again!

Everything has come out negative I had 2 blood tests come out negative and every hpt came out negative too but the ultrasound showed me 7 weeks and everything looks fine :-) good luck ask for a ultrasound let me know how it turns out please :-)

Well, I hate to say it but, I am going with no on the being pregnant this month yet again. After three days of brown spotting today I had red blood :( I was hoping I have had very sore breasts the last few days, and for me that is never a symptom I get with my period. We were getting hopeful after being so late this month. We were also late 9 days last month, but we are pretty sure that was stress related. Back to the mattress;)
