    Hotpoint washer won't work before the rinse point
    MY Hotpoint washing works great from the rinse point on but prior to the that it doesn't do anything.

    Have you tried running it on any other cycle to see if the problem repeats itself? Sounds like the timer circuit might be faulty, try a different setting and water level just for the sake of it...

Washer won't run the rinse cycle! [ 4 Answers ]

Does anyone have any idea what's wrong? Actually, no cold water is coming into the washer and YES the valve is open. Since there is no cold water... no rinse cycle. I have to rinse my clothes by starting it over and fill it with hot water.
