I have been dating this boy for a little over a year now and unfortunally found out that he had been cheating on me what should I do? Should I beat up the girl he cheated on me with? :mad:

Well did he cheat w/ her once or was this happening for a long time? Regardless the person you should be mad at is your boyfriend. No matter what problems you were having he should not have went outside of the relationship to solve it, period. You need to have a serious talk w/ him and if you don't like what you hear then you should dump him.

But don't release your anger on her. It's him you are mad at.
Talk it out. Ask him why he did it.
And think about what you want to do :)

Also, if you want to forgive him, just have one thing in mind: once a cheater always a cheater.

It takes two to cheat, him and the girl. So beat up one, and you have to beat up the other, right?

Violence is not the way to solve grown up issues. You have to grow up.

Take the advice of these people here telling you to grow up and get past being violent. At the same time, take a look at the choices you have.

You can break up with him, or forgive him, or talk it out with him and see what happens. You can be angry and spiteful or deal with the pain you feel and let it go.

This is a chance to grow.

No, that is not right. Instead don't forgive him and move on if you can't get over it. Ever heard the phrase - once a cheater always a cheater? =P How about use the anger on him and not her and you will see how bad the relationship is.

Go get yourself a boy toy and show him he doesn't mean anything to you.

The other girl may not have known that he had a girlfriend so you can't blame her.

If she did know and is shoving it in your face just tell her that she can have him and you were bored with him anyway...

Don't get angry, it will just make her feel better that she 'stole' him off you.

And never resort to violence, it is pointless and just plain stupid.

Having given it a shot and failed in the past few months, let me just tell you that things are not and cannot be the same in a relationship after infidelity. Leave him, cut off all contact, start healing, and save yourself more heartbreak.
