    Central Air conditioners
    What are the top 3 brand names for air central air conditioners with 16 - 17.3 seers and what is the recommended price to pay with warranty, installation and programmable thermostat. We are in South Texas and need one ASAP. Ours is shot and we've had several estimates.

    Just about impossible to say about a price without being there to see your situation. I don't think you will get nearly as accurate of a quote online, as you did from the local contractors.

    Somewhere between $1,500 and $10,000 would be a good ballpark figure

    HI Pattimo. Just out of curiosity, what did they give you for bids? Just wondering what prices are like in your area. They vary all around the world, just curious.
