We have broken part of the outside of a shower tray which we believe is fibre glass. We have been told you can buy a bath repair kit that would do the job. Has anyone any information on this problem.

If your pan is actually fiber glass you can buy a fiber glass repair kit in most hardware stores and auto parts places. These kits are frequentky used on cars and boats but work on shower pans too. You will need to paint the pan when doen with something like Rust-o-leums tub and tile paint, bad fumes but great product.
