That's just it Artsy, I seem to spend most of my time in bed lately, and I'm tired of it. I want to get up, get out, do things, but I just feel so blah.

If I was in pain then it would be different, but I'm not. My body just seems to be going against me lately, and I can't find the way to make it stop.

I know that I don't take good care of myself, Sneezy will tell you, he gives me crap about it all the time, but really, what the heck? Bad Alty body, smarten up! ;)

Sorry, just needed to vent a bit today, it's a bad day and I'm feeling sorry for myself. I'll snap out of it. SNAP! There, big smiley face like I mean it! :):D

Yuck! I tell you, it must be something in the water! It doesn't sound like any of us had a good night! I hope you are feeling better now Alty?

I woke up in the middle of the night after I had a horifying nightmare, and I just couldn't sleep afterwards. I dreampt that Niki came and woke me up because she wanted to go outside. So I got up and all of a sudden Niki started walking really fast and all wobbly, and she crashed into my computer desk. The she flipped over onto her back and started convulsing, and then she stopped breathing. I was screaming and giving her CPR.

I tried to use my phone, and it wasn't working, and so I started running to all of the neighbours, but nobody would come to their door. I tried to pick up Niki, but she was too heavy for me, and then she just died!

I woke up screaming with tears running down my face. I probably scared the sh*t out of Snickers, because I ran over and woke her from a dead sleep. She looked at me with one of those... what the hell is your problem, looks! Uuhhhgggg!

    Poor Niki! Poor Mommy!

I hate those dreams, they always seem so real, it takes a long time to shake them off.

I have a recurring dream that I have inherited a house that has been abandoned for 2 years. In the basement there's tons of animals that haven't been fed or anything in that time. Some are dead, others barely hanging on.

In my dream I'm scrambling to feed them all, take care of them, keep them alive.

When I wake up I start heading downstairs to check on these animals. I usually get to the bottom of the stairs before I realize it was just a dream.

Maybe I should stop drinking beer. ;)

A dream like that would be so scary! Especially a reoccuring dream like that! Maybe we should stay off the pet forum! ;)

It wasn't until Nik opened her eyes until I realised it was a dream. Then like you said, it takes awhile to actually get over it. My heart was beating out of my chest, and I just sat here and bawled my eyes out, so of course Nik got up and was licking my face wondering what in the world was wrong. I've got tears running down my face now, just thinking about it.

Are you feeling better?. or do you still feel sick? Maybe you should try and get into the Dr. It sounds like you're depressed again too. Have you been taking your meds?

Wow ,I just woke at 3 am as usual no nightmares or vomiting thank-goodness.
I wonder if having all this stuff from here in our head when we go to sleep is bad for us psychologically. Abortions and cheating and crazy people everywhere

Meds check, but I was out for a few days, so that might be part of the issue.

I'm on new thyroid meds, that's messing with my system too, not used to them yet.

I do have to take better care of myself, I always tell myself I'll do it tomorrow, but tomorrow never comes. Maybe today should be tomorrow. You guys keep on my arse about this, maybe then I'll be good.

Artsy, Sydney is a natural little mommy, so sweet. Don't get me wrong, she can get really mad, heck, scary mad, but when someone is hurt or sick, she's the kindest sweetest little girl I know. Jared is the same way, actually offers to make me soup when I'm sick. I couldn't ask for better kids. :)

I've often wondered about that Artsy.

Even though I try not to let the crazy's on AMHD get into my head, how can we help it? I've heard things here that I never wanted to hear, now they're permanently etched in my brain, that can't be good.

I have had dreams about some of the more bizarre stories on AMHD, so you, it's obviously messing with me, I'm sure it messes with all of us on some level, how could it not?

That's why threads like this are so important. Fun, fluff, a place to go and be silly, or we'd go crazy!

I'm back- that was probably the worst meeting ever, it's ruined my lunch. I just love being blamed for things. I'm given the wrong G/L numbers [for May Tech] and it's my fault.

    Ugh.

Aww Alty I hope you feel better =(

P.S. I love how this thread goes from a silly joke about Hermie, to a serious topic and then to a theme of puking, kids & work.

We love going off on a tangent, it keeps everyone on their toes. This way you really can't afford to miss a page of conversation, otherwise you'll be completely lost. ;)

    Haven't puked for almost 2 hours, so that's good, I think. :(

At times it's hard to keep up. Some days are so slow, hardly anyone around, then, all of a sudden, everyone will be on and 3 pages can pass by in mere minutes.

Sometimes I don't know whether I'm coming or going. ;)
