How much time to girls need?
I've been dating my girlfriend for a year and a half. Thing have been good. We are very loving to each other. Since last Christmas we started arguing some what regularly. Some of it has to do with her drinking. I get frustrated but we end up talking things out and all is well. But this happens every few weeks. We just went on a vacation. Me her and her 9yr old daughter. We stayed with her parent and everything went well. There were a couple of times she was drinking too much and I just avoided a argument. When we got back at the end of March we didn't see each other for a few day. I was busy and tired. She asked me to move in with her on vacation but I said I didn't want to talk about it then. She lives with her daughter and grandma. Anyway. That Friday she said she didn't think we were going in the same direction and wanted to break up. I said fine I was frustrated too. I tried to talk to her that night but she was mad. I talked to her the next morning and she cried and said she needed time and if I loved her I would give it to her. I did. But I acted out a few day later calling a bunch and knocking on her window. I know that was dumb. She texted me and said I was going to drive her away for good if I didn't stop. I did. But I haven't heard from her in two weeks. Help.

    Hey
Sorry to hear that you are going through this. It sounds like she may have some serious issues that maybe more deep routed then she has let on. I think that you have done the right thing by letting her have some space but at the same time it must be hard as you sound like you are upfront and like to talk things through. Have you tried writing to her explaining that this is very difficult for you as you love her very much and don't want to lose her and that you are there for her if she needs you. I am hoping that she will realise that she has to sort this out and it may not go away as it may not be you that is causing her problems. The trouble with us women is we can be ruled by our emotions and if she is feeling insecure about herself then anything else will be magnified. Give her time and fingers crossed. Good luck.

That's the line that you should be focusing on. She's right, if you love her you would respect her wishes. Leave her alone. If she wants to get back together, she will find you.

At least you know now... very bad idea. You made it seem like you don't respect her wishes. Another reason why you have to leave her alone. If you try anything again, you're never going to have a chance with her.

I know 2 weeks sounds like a lot to you. Every minute feels like a minute too long. But there's nothing you can do. You have to let her take whatever time she needs to recover.

Just spend this time working on making yourself a better person. Especially the part about knocking on her window? You really need to spend this time to learn some self-control.

    Just be patient!

If you contact her, she will be mad, if you don't, you will go crazy.

Do as she says, and leave her alone. Better you go crazy, than she get mad at you.
