    Can one pay alimony from there disability checks? Is is still possible to garnish disability checks, they were married over 30 years, and he left her for someone else.

    Disability cannot be garnished, but the account that it is deposited into can be liened and the distinction becomes a nightmare to untangle.

    Was the alimony ordered before the disability? Spousal support is calculated based on attachable income.
