    Deed In lieu requirements NYC
    I want to do a deed in lieu with the bank. They say I had to have place it on the market for 90 days, but it is too late since it is going into foreclosure. The unofficial sales date is in September. Is it too late to get everything done?

    Ask the bank to cite what law says so. If they can, then they are right and you have no recourse. I would also check with provisions of the stimulus packages to see if those can help you.
