1987 Toyota P/U 22R engine Water in Oil
Here is the problem 1987 toyota p/u with 22R engine. The engine got hot and started to blow white smoke out the exhaust. The engine only ran for about 5 minutes before it was shut off. I checked the water and was very low, checked the oil and has water in the oil. I was told that it more likely cracked the block . Could it have blown the head gasket instead. Please help

Most likely, it's a leaking head gasket. My father surprised me and got rid of his 1986 Toyota Pickup, with the 22R engine, three years ago for this same problem. I still think he should have had it repaired. Instead, he bought a new Scion XB.
