    Remebering a movie from 80's or 90's
    I am trying to rembering the name of a movie that I saw as a child. It dealt with a young boy in a attic, it was raining, and has a key that he open to a magical land and he became the hero I think it is in the 80's or 90's. I want to say keymaster, or keyholder but I can't find it. I am 100 percent sure that it is not animated. Could anyone help me? Thank you

    It sounds sort of like "the never ending story"...

    Actually "the never ending story" dealt with a boy who was being bullied and hid in the school. It was a book he read.

    This kid actually gets a key from his grandfather? And opens a door in the attic of the house.

    Was it with Macaulay Culkin? He is given a key to unlock this land or save it or something.
    This also I believe had Michael Dorn, the voice of Worf from Star trek on here.
    Was it the Pagemaster? Just remembered. I hope that helps!
