    Theft over $5000
    A friend of mine had a trailer stolen from Calgary, Alberta and the trailer has been found by the police in British Columbia. The bad guy has been charged with theft and we are wondering what the punishment could be if he is found guilty?

    Depends, will they do some type of plea agreement, have the "bad guy" done other bad things before.

    It can go from probatoin and a fine to some years in jail, there is not one for sure answer Heck, they have to be convicted first, they may hire a great lawyer and even get off,
