Company stock sale - redemption option
In Dec 2008 - the company I work for was sold and the stock was redeemed - a portion of the stock redemption was kept in the company escrow account. My 1099-B statement included the total amount even though I did not receive the escrow amount. How can I not pay capital gains on that amount until such time as I receive the funds - which will be July 2010
