    What is the right
    Respected sir,
    I have a confusion regarding writing name with Mohammad please guide me because some body told me that in English dictionary Muhammad is wrong which is written like that MU- HAM-MAD.
    MU means God forbid fool
    HAM means Pig
    Mad is also you know.

    Please guide me which one Muhammad / Mohammad is right.

    My brother who told you that is stupid. Mohammad is an Arabic word derived from Al Hamd, Mahmoud is someone being thanked more, and Mohammad is the most being thanked

    Similar from Al Hamd is Hamed, who is someone being thankful, and Ahmad is the most being thankful

    Now as this is an Arabic word, it is written in English as part of pronounced not translated, so someone may write it as Mohamad, or Muhamad, or Mohammed, or Mohammad or anything similar and whatever you were told is absolute rubbish
