I take enbrel once a week, 50mg by injection, I have had MRSA (MERCER) Staff infection, the first time I was in the hospital for 8 days I had it real bad on my butt and on the upper part of my back leg, then when I came home they had a health nurse to come once a week to pack the hole, till it healed up, so it has been like last November when I had it there, well my question is,, I still itch back on my butt where the hole closed up ,so should I still be itching there all the time still? My surgen saids it is where the tissue on the inside is sill healing, but I`am still concern about it, pluse I have had it inside my nose a month ago, and had to take antibotic inside my nose, till it healed, and of course I stop taking enbrel when I had it to, so my other question is, is it still safe to take enbrel while I`am still itching on my butt where the infection was ?

What were you taking the enbrel for? MRSA unfortunately if very common now. Do you have a lot of contact w/ children or hosptials? I doubt the mrsa in you nose is related to the previous infection, you surgeon is probably right, since you're probably still healing due to the severity of the infection.

I take enbrel for arthritis I have really bad, sense I was 30 years old, I have to go to the doctor a lot, but I have to protect myself, cause mrsa is going around bad now, its all over the news about it to, use to be common, but like it is going around bad again, I have to just protect myself, cause I can get infections easy now, thanks for your answer,

I assume you've tried other immune-modulating therapies to not much success until you tried the enbrel. You can most likely go back on the Enbrel soon, but you may have to become a certified germophobe.
