I have a friend who has one month left on probation. Probation has violated them for a minor incident that happens six months ago. I understand they can violate the individual but my question is what is the steepest penalty they can face at this time? Also, please be advised their fines are paid in full. Please advise.

It depends on the severity of the "minor" incident. If it is indeed a minor incident and the only probation violation that's occurred and all fines are in fact paid to date then your friend will probably get away with an extended probation period. If, however, the offense is more serious then (s)he'll probably see some jail time.

It doesn't matter how much time she has left. If she had three years total, they can violate her for the entire three years.

If it was PAROLE, though, and there was only a month left, then all they could violate a person for would be a month.

My boyfriend was arrested with a probation violation for not compling with daily reporting. He went in and checked in every day but failed to tell them he had moved and was not paying the fees. Now will he have to serve his time. What kind of time is he facing. He got chared with 180 of daily reporting.Now does he just serve the rest of his time or does he sever the hole 180 days. If not do we have a chance of getting him out.

Yes. That'll cOme up during sentencing. Maye they'll give him 20 instead of 25. But, what'll they cOnsider first, is that he rObbed a guy with a lOaded weapOn, while he was already On prObatiOn fOr anOther Offense.

I would like to know what I can expect.I m on probation for one year (heroin),and on my first visit. After I visited I got stop by officer and they got me for same thing heroin poss. On same day of my probation.But I never show positive on drug test.

What? You were in possession, right? That is a separate issue from testing positive.
