Varying water pressures through out new house ?
My husband and I bought a brand new house in 2007. :)
The city utilities come in from the street and where they meet the house, we have a main shut off and an outdoor faucet. At that particular faucet, the pressure is very weak. A sprinkler will bring a water fan about waist high. :( (Across the street, it is about 10ft tall !!)
Also, at the kitchen sink, the cold water pressure is at little more than a trickle. The hot water at the same sink and the hot & cold everywhere else through out the house is ok...any ideas?

What kind of pressure do you call "OK"? Is it as gfood as your neighbors? If you lost pressure in the entire house starting at the outside hose bib I would suppect the water service. However, since you say pressure's "OK" every where else that puts the blame on the individual valves themselves. So I ask again, What kind of pressure do you call "OK"? Regards, Tom

Well, I guess you're right. I don't know if it compares to that of the neighbors. I was saying "OK" 'cuz it was what I would consider an average water flow.
