    I'm afraid of losing her
Hi :) so my bestest friend ever ( I've known her for 11yrs so... that's a long time and we always were bff) anywayzz she has a boyfriend and I'm OK with that and I'm happy for her :D but I'm scared that we won't be friends like we were before. I'm not jealous or anything but I don't want to lose her as a friend because she always suported me and always helped me... I am trying to do the same but I don't want this guy to come between us. Any tips. I'm afraid that I'll lose her and I don't want that

Hey,in those hazy dizzy days of the first flush of romance I think a lot of us get sidelined and forget about the rest of the world, when all we can think about is the person we want to be with, but it passes, your friend is still your friend.. be a little patient, try and make plans to meet up and let your friend know your scared of losing the friendship,I'm betting your friend will reassure you all will be well.

Boyfriends will come and go, for both of you.

But friendships last forever. Give her the space and make days for just the two of you. She will appreciate them in the long run, but in first relationship and in the beginning sometimes you have to let them find out about each other. Talk to your friend. Arrange a day of the week, that can be just yours, or make plans for a day.

By "i'm not jealous" did you mean jealous of the guy for her attention, or jealous of her for him?

If it is the former, simply ride it out.
Simply back off a little, and don't push her for time with her or anything. Once she gets past the initial "ooh, my boyfriend *giggle*" phase, she will start spending less time with him and more time with you. It happens to everyone, and you'll just have to wait a little while. (crude analogy) She's not forgetting about you, it's just that new toy she HAS to play with a week before going back to any of her old ones.

If it is the latter, try to stay away from them. You can still hang out with your friend, but not them together. That WILL make you jealous. You can also try to find his flaws, and focus on those, so he won't seem so great to you. You don't need to tell these to your friend, simply because you are happy for her and aren't trying to break them up. Just use them to get over yourself so you can all just hang out together or something.

There comes a time where that happens to all of us. But you can still change it. Talk to her. Tell her that she's your Best friend and you would like it to stay that way. Tell her straight up and keep it sweet. And remember she's your best friend ,she will always be there and will always listen to you. Good Luck ;)
