I am over 21 and when I was there, I met a girl in the Philippines who is 16 now. We want to marry, and we know it is not permitted in Philippines even with parents consent. Her Parents love me, and want us to get married. It is legal in my State of New Jersey to marry with parents consent. We have been talking for almost a year on the computer and phone (I met her when she was 15). I am going back in July to see her again. Can I apply for a fiancé visa for her to come to the USA so we can marry here? She will be 17 soon but we have no intention of waiting because of stupid laws made by other people, we love each other, and her parents are OK with our relationship and want to see us marry. Can I get a Fiancée Visa for her to come here, her parents will sign any papers that are necessary or do we have to do something that is not legal to get her here, and marry her without others bothering our lifes who have no dam business doing so? I'm sorry I sound angry, but I for one am sick and tired of someone else telling me how to run my life. We are in love, her parents say it's OK. So who has the right to say it's not! Please advise me, or Canada to the USA here we come!! No one going to stop us from doing what we feel is right for me, and my future wife. Please don't tell me we should wait, cause it's not going to happen! We are trying to do it legal, but if we can't were going to do what we have to do. LOVE is more powerful than any law made by some jerks that nothing better to do! Let them run their own dam life, leave us alone. Thanks, I have vented my anger with the system!

No. She must be 18, you must be financially able to support her (coz fiance visa doesn't allow her to work for some months) and both of you must be patient

Sorry, but even processing fiance visa takes 6 months to 1 year and you will be declined at this point. Spousal Visa sometimes takes over a year here.

Laws in the Philippines are made by a highly intelligent and prudent men. We believe in virtue of waiting and the need for maturity when a entering marriage.

Yeah, just wanted to add that I agree with both posts above, there is no way for you to apply for a fiancée visa for a child (sorry she is a child at 16) and if she still wants this marriage when she is 18 apply but expect at least a years wait before you get the visa.

Thank U for your answers, but laws are made to be broken. We will find a way around the stupid laws made by others to make honest peoples lives difficult. It is a shame other people have to make honest people do things they would not do because THEY feel it is best for you. Well, we don't, so we will do it our way. The honest and wise men can go to hell. I am sick of others telling me what is best for me. So, U do what you have to do. Thanks again for your help. We will do what we must to live our lives the way we want, and not the way someone else dictates.

In terms of Immigration laws are NOT made to be broken... the law is quite clear that a child cannot apply as a fiancée, and if you plan to forge documents to make it seem she is 18 I must warn you that you will be fined up to $2000 per false document if you get caught. I don't know what you plan on doing but good luck.

He's planning to forge the birth certificate. I believe immigration asks for the NSO (National Statistics Office) copy, which is in black, pink and green print.
