    Pregnant or early period?
Hi my name is stephanie, last monthe I started my period 1 week early and it was really light sometimes and sometimes I didn't even have to wear a tampon then I would start to bleed a little bit and have to put a tampon in. No this month I started 1 week early from when I started a week arly last month. I had pink/orang discharge 3 days before I started my period now. Then whenever I started it it was so light that I could wear a pad for 4 hours and just have spots of blood on the pad. Then the next day it go a little bit heavier then today it is so light it won't even fill a tampon half full after 4 hours. The day I had the discharge I followed by nausea, vomiting and very bad fatigue. Is this normal? Please give me a explanation I have googled everything but nuthing seems to be giving me any answers I am looking for.. Thank you

Have you taken a home pregnancy test? If not, that's the next step.

Use first morning urine as it's the most accurate.

Sadly, no one can tell you for sure what is going on, even a doctor couldn't without seeing you, doing tests, asking more questions.

So, take the hpt and go from there.

    Good luck.

Please be patient. We volunteer our time here and we lead normal ordinary lives. As such, I've been busy picking kids up from school, getting ready for a night in labor and delivery, etc.

Now, to answer your question. The nausea and vomiting with the fatigue sounds like a virus. There are many reasons that our periods get thrown out of whack, and sometimes there is no rhyme or reason at all.

Have you tried taking a HPT yet? Are you on any medications? Gained or lost a lot of weight recently? Stress?

It could be something else. It could just be that you're off. Have you taken any medications lately? That can change your period. Also, stress, a change in diet, etc. etc. etc.

Sadly we don't know any more then you do. We can give you advice, but not a definite answer. ;)

Take the hpt, then you'll know one way or the other.

If it's negative I'd go see your doctor, describe your symptoms, get some tests done.

Let us know how it turns out. :)

No I haven't taken a hpt. No I'm not on any med. I was on cymbalta, and it said that it would in no way interrupt or throw your cycle off. I mean I have had my period since I was 12 and I has ALWAYS been the same day every month.. not too much weight loss in the past month I have lost 5 lbs. I'm not hungry but I have cravings but when I go to eat something I lose my app or get sick.. I mean I don't have cold or anything..
