    Colorado teanant with landlord issue
[F] can someone please advise me correctly
Last year I rented a condo here in Colorado springs and when I moved in I informed the landlord about the condition of the carpets.. they were old white carpets well at one time white more a dingy greyish dirt look now
Well I took him over 40 pics of the stains and tears in them.. which he kept.. while promising me he was going to replace them.. 9 months into my lease he passed away and his son became my landlord.. he lives in New York
Well my lease just came up for review... I am on section 8... and he sent me a signed lease
    Date April 1 09 to march 31 2010
He his wife brother in law and sister just came to my home.. as I had told him the condition of the carpets were terrible they came and discussed that they were going to replace the carpets and even put in tile
They left saying they would be calling in a day or so when the installers would be coming
I called the landlord the next day about some old washer and dryer his father had in my storage shed that no longer worked... he informed me that he is not going to rent it out but rather sell it and wanted me out in 30 days as he wants to replace the carpets without my furniture in the condo. Can he legally do this when he just signed a new lease with me just the week before. Do I have any legal recourse? Someone advised me that he has to return my deposit in full and cover my moving expenses
Is this true?? Any correct help is much appreciated

If you signed the lease he also signed, you are good until 4/10. Tell him you will discuss him buying you out if that would work for you but he can not evict or kick you out unless you stop paying rent, do not miss one payment with this guy.
