Replacement of W/S Solvent Tank--2002 Chev Suburban
My w/s solvent container is leaking on my 2002 Chev Suburban. What is the best way to access the tank? I am pretty handy on minor repairs. Is this a job for me or should I take it to the garage.

If you're prepared for all the steps, it isn't too difficult:

Remove the battery and battery tray from the vehicle.
Remove the inner wheel housing from the vehicle.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the washer pump.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the washer solvent level sensor.
Disconnect the washer hose from the washer pump.
Remove the upper and lower bolts from the washer solvent container.
Remove the washer solvent container from the vehicle.

Follow this step by step. Reinstall in the reverse order.

    I hope this helps.

The windshield wipers quit working on my 1994 Chev truck. You can hear the motor trying to run when you switch it on. If you raise the hood and smack it a couple of times with the handle end of a large screwdriver, they'll start working, for a while. W hat do I need to replace or fix?
