    Possible binge eating or overeating
So I've recently gain 9 lbs in the past 2 months but I've also noticed that I've been hungry a lot more and more often. I've been eating like a horse. Sometimes when I'm just even the slightest bit hungry I eat until I feel more than full, basically I overeat and I've been doing it a lot recently. Or other times I start eating and I just can't stop for some reason. I'm 16 yrs old so is this normal. Does this sound like binge eating? If so how can I stop it?

Are you stressed out about something? Has something changed in your life recently?

I haven't really felt stress at all. The only thing I've noticed that changed when it first started happening is I started dating someone. I don't know. Maybe the security feeling coming from dating someone is causing me to let myself go.

Be careful what you put into your mouth? Cut-up veggies and fruits instead of cookies and cake? Ice water instead of sugary drinks? Brush your teeth often to mentally be unready to pollute your mouth?

    Always craving sugar
I'm always craving chocolate candy, or some kind of food with lots of sugar when I'm done eating a meal. It's a strong craving and when I do eat something sugary sometimes I over indulge in it. I've noticed that this has certainly taken a toll on my weight. So I was wondering if anybody knew any tricks or something that would be useful to prevent any cravings of sugar or could tell me how to not over indulge.

Hi, your sugar level may be up. Are you a diabetic?

Sounds like you have what mom called a sweet tooth. The best way around this problem is to stop buying the chocolate or sugary treats. If they are not in your home you will be less likely to go out at night to buy a treat for yourself.

Just read her rather long story, and its usually the case after hard long break ups, that the diet suffers.
