    On site bridal shower
My friend this8384 was married by a Justice of the Peace. She has always wanted a church wedding with all the trimmings and is going to repeat her vows in June.

I'm going to have an on-line bridal shower for her and I need some volunteers and some suggestions!

It's a fantasy shower so we are giving fantasy presents! We will also have fantasy food and beverages and play real games for fantasy prizes.

Any thoughts? Let's make this SPECIAL for one of our valued members!

I was thinking end of April, beginning of May.

I suppose we HAVE to invite the men on the site but if they get disruptive they will be leaving. Trust me.

(Hope This 8384 isn't TOO upset with me but I did say I was thinking about it - :)

Come on, I need some thoughts!

Love it, love it, love it! :)

First thing on the agenda, can we think of a nickname for This8384, calling her This sounds a bit weird. ;)

I'll do some research, see what I can find and get back to you judykins. :)

Can you bake Twinkie? How about arts and crafts?

I'm thinking of making the invites, I love scrapbooking and stuff, so I think I could do it really well. I would need a pic of Bekki though. How about it Bekki, can I have a pic?

Also, the decorations, party favors, games, gifts, guest list, punch, beer... so much to do, so little time. :(

Well, you volunteered to help with food for the calendar shoot so maybe food for this?

I also need help with decorations. I believe one of the colors is lavender, mauve?

Bekki - need to know your colors!

And games - I'm working on games. But we can't really post them here because some of us will practice at home and win all the prizes.

And we need to pick a date when a lot - if not all of us - can be on line!

    I LOVE this girl stuff!

Invites, yes. If you can do clever invites, yes, please. That would be GREAT. I organize and have no artistic talent. Also no time to make wedding reindeer (my speciality). Please, yes, invites.

Also need to get an invite list together.

I love your reindeer Judy, in fact, I love them so much that they are on permanent display in my house. Nope, not putting them away and saving them for Christmas, they are too precious for words and I adore them.

I'll work on the invites. As for the date, I'm always here. I know, it's sad, I think I'm addicted. :(

I catalog books and rescue stray cats. We could each give her a book, and I could create a library for her... Different, eh?

DJ is the perfect position for our Starby. She has a plethora of music at her fingertips.

Starby dear, not too much country okay, make it a mix, otherwise I'll have to hunt you down and maim you. ;)

Men aren't invited to bridal showers, even fantasy online ones...

Geesh, if they get involved we will end up with toilet paper streamers and Walmart bag wrapping paper.

And I am very anti-Walmart wrapped gifts, although I receive them every holiday. :D

Medical problems could arise! Also, don't we need a few chippendale guys? We may need a Doc just in case anyone passes out!

I don't think we can keep them out, that's the problem. Hopefully "they" don't want to take part in anything this "girly."

On the other hand, maybe they'll bring nice presents, have too much to drink, strip and dance.
