    Pregnancy & New Motherhood
I have noticed that I have become more paranoid about everything since I have become pregnant. Is it because of my hormones or am I just freaking out over everything for no apparent reason?

It is not uncommon since you have someone else to consider now. Rest assured that baby is well protected and with just the normal paying more attention to potential risks... unnecessary medications, exposure to chemicals, etc. along with making any healthy lifestyle changes, you will be doing much to insure your baby's well being.

Your bringing new life into the world, its pretty hard. So your definitely going to get some effects, like depression, paranoia, sickness. While going through paranoia do you worry about your partner cheating?
    That everyone isn't helping?
If its not the worry of you bringing new life into the world then its just your hormones changing through this time .

    Good luck with the baby
    I hope this helps x

This is all hormonal. Many women become paranoid that their significant other is cheating, that they will have a miscarriage, that something will be wrong with their baby. Not to worry, it's normal and natural.

Don't worry too much about it, I now have a 4 yr old & every once in a while, I still freak out about stuff. Does he have enough clothes on because it's cold outside? His father will put just a sweatshirt on him & I freak out thinking he's going to freeze. If he falls & hits his head I worry about him w/ a concusion. He used to choke a lot when he was little & I was always paranoid when he would go to the daycare. I mean that baby is part of you & it's rough when it comes down to it put if you don't lighten up, you will loose your hair! I've learned to take it easy... it takes time. Trust me.
