    Divorce for nikah only
    Assalamoualaikoum
    I been separated to my wife which I had Nikah only in my country,but bring her in Uk as spouse.Now I got engage back home and will get marry soon insha Allah but immigration solicitor said I need a divorce and familly law said I don't have marriage certificate so can't do divorce,I am confuse.how should I get a divorce so I can bring my future wife?Please help.

    Are you muslim? Did you go before your mosc and get an official disavowment of your marriage ? They could provide you with the proper parework for your union and for your separation.

    Assalamu alaikum,

    Brother please contact your local shuyukh because the regulations of a sister divorcing is you can not marry her until she marries someone else and consumes sex and then after that you can only marry her... please be careful brother cause shaytan is a smart and what immigration is telling you works of shaytan to divorce her and sharia wise, she would have to marry someone else before marrying to you again... waAllahu alim
