12/2 vs 14/2
I have a 20Amp circuit which has 12/2 wire all around except for a light switch that goes to three fluorescent lights in the garage ceiling. Should I take the wallboard back down and replace this 14/2 wire with 12/2?

Yes. Either that or change the 20 amp circuit to 15 amps.
