    Correct wiring connection
    Wiring correctly a ceiling light , I have w&b wires fixture -- w&r wires from ceiling outlet . I connected white to white red to black . Is this the correct connection ?

    White is "neutral". Other colors are usually line voltage. If there are only two wires in the ceiling, white-white, red-black is probably correct.
