    Recurring strep
Hi, I am wondering if anyone can help me. I have had strep 5 times in the past 6 months. I had my tonsild removed when I was 14, and believe it I had them removed again 3 months ago because they grew back. I have gotten strep 2 times since they have been out. I am getting concerned because I know recurring strp is very dangerous for your liver and heart. Can anyone give me some advice.

Yes, you are correct about strep being a problem for your heart. They used to call this Scarlet Fever about 50 years ago.

You should be under the care of a physician. I find it remarkable that you keep having this infection as this is a very serious infection to keep getting.

You are doing something to keep reinfecting yourself somehow.

If your current doctor is not helping you totally recover from this, I would suggest changing doctors NOW before your heart is infected and you end up with some very serious heart problems from the constant infection.

Recurrent Strep throat can be kept in control by combining the use of certain herbal remedies along with your antibiotic course, during an acute infection.

In the intervening phase, certain other herbal preparations may be used, to help boost your immunity to Streptococci and other bacteria (and viruses, too).

Which herbal remedies you would use would be defined by your country of residence. Many appropriate remedies are available in Ayurvedic and Homeopathic pharmacies, in most parts of the world.

I strongly recommend that you talk to your doctor about this and try supplementary therapy for your tonsillitis, in this manner.
It will save you a lot of pain and hassle in life!
