My husband was a very reserved man but every time we went out he either sang or hummed "You Look Wonderful Tonight," the Cric Clapton version. I play it on my car CD all the time. He hummed it the first time we met - I have no idea what THAT was all about but it always touched my heart. It's always nice to know the man you love loves you back and thinks you're lookin' good (as he put it). It isn't something that's played often but I heard it in the Mall some time after he died and froze in my tracks - and smiled! "It's late in the evening; she's wondering what clothes to wear. She puts on her make-up and brushes her long blonde hair. And then she asks me, "Do I look all right?" And I say, "Yes, you look wonderful tonight." We go to a party and everyone turns to see This beautiful lady that's walking around with me. And then she asks me, "Do you feel all right?" And I say, "Yes, I feel wonderful tonight." I feel wonderful because I see The love light in your eyes. And the wonder of it all Is that you just don't realize how much I love you. It's time to go home now and I've got an aching head, So I give her the car keys and she helps me to bed. And then I tell her, as I turn out the light, I say, "My darling, you were wonderful tonight. NeedKarma: I don't know what it is about Blue Ocotber but I love all of their songs. I don't find that very often, that an entire album was great. Their Foiled album was awesome, my favorites are Hate Me Into the Ocean 18th Floor Balcony (probably my overall fav) X Amount of Words Overweight Congratulations. You don't see this very often were there are 6 songs out of 12 that are awesome. |

I love Tim McGraw's ''Don't Take the Girl''. I'm not a huge fan of most of his music, but that one song just makes me want to cry. Also, ''Dust in the Wind'' from Kansas and ''Objects in the Rearview Mirror'' sung by Meatloaf.
